Space Opportunity

Levi has met with the owner of a property coming available in some time, on several occasions. The owner assures us verbally that we are first for renting the property once they move. We want it in writing that this is the case to insure us this transaction. Prayers appreciated. At the time of this letter, we are waiting for a final price to rent this land (desirable for the ministry and for us to live). We have offered the owner $700 a month for rent (about ¾ acre with coverings and a house that needs work). He’s only given us a purchase price that is about double what it should be. We are praying about it for now with no counter purchase offer. It would be best to rent for a year to make sure it is worth it in the long term. It is good to be on a property for a year to know if there are any area issues; flooding, crime, etc.

We are still establishing this ministry, the calling God’s given to Levi. As this happens in God’s time in God’s Way, we minister to others and building relationships. It’s great to see them grow more interested in the Word and in God as they interact with us. Also, Levi has helped a Guatemalan with materials for his home and another one by making a door and window. We have helped others by giving household items, our son and daughter’s clothes, and books/toys, explaining how God provides these items not “us because we have a lot”. This opens their eyes and hearts to God providing and loving them.

No Space, praying for space

• A piece of land has come up that would be ‘ideal’ for the ministry and for saving living costs long term. We are praying about God’s hand in this. It’s either “yes, no, or not yet” and He will make is obvious! Pray with us. Levi has seen many pieces of land and will continue to do so, but there is one that is very ideal, so far.

See our Need page for details on what is specifically needed. An idea would be to pick a Sunday to collect funds for this, only if you are led by God.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year!

We simply with you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We do not say this as a common thing to say, we honestly want you to know Christmas is Jesus’ Birthday and HE is a GIFT to you. We also want your New Year to be Happy. how do you accomplish this? Why not submit to God in all you do while accepting Jesus as your Savior. Then learn to be more like Jesus bu getting plugged into a Bible teaching church with people you can fellowship with weekly. Your daily walk is so important. Pray and seek God’s purpose for creating you. It of course is all your choise. Know we are praying for you as we do the Guatemalans here we meet and minister to. They have less ’stuff’ and priority is family and daily living. We like to add the light and hope of Jesus to it all!

Maxed out for space, now what…

As more panels get assembled and the equipment gets welded, the small amount of space we are renting from another ministry is getting filled up, in fact it’s full. There is no more room to produce what needs to be produced.

Since last spring to early summer, we’ve been praying for land. Many local Guatemalan christians have been helping find land too. Levi has gone on numerous trips to pieces of land here and there for a range of prices, sizes, and locations. Nothing has come yet to fulfill the needs for the mission. Mostly in size and in some cases in locations, it just is not right for long term rental or most desired for purchase. We’ll need room for production and temporary storage of panels. Then room for equipment for production, transportation, and most desired would be living quarters. As we’ve mentioned, thsi building system is one we’d use for our own home. We would build one on property and live in it. This would keep so many costs down, personally and in the minsitry.

Pray with us about this. Levi has maximized the space to continue so now we’re renting storage and we need to move forward in God’s timing. God knows what He will reveal to us next!

Amazing is our God

We are on our trip in the states. This will be short but we HAVE to share… As we mentioned last month the direction God has shown Levi to take the system, we have just had some supporters step forward and say that they wanted to give a special gift toward something to help further the project. Well this is it! Amazing how God had this timing so perfect. We now have the ‘way’ of making this newer, improved system for the project. Making it easier to help strengthen the Church and reach the Lost as far as the construction side goes. Praise God for the BODY!
